👉 ICON Founder Min Kim addresses the ICON Community on Twitter, speaking on the ICE/SNOW funding discontinuation and ICON’s focused commitment to BTP development and xCall integrations.
“xCall as a service allows us to leverage the pace of the wider industry while also offering greater flexibility than we could support through BTP alone. (…) Of the grants that were cut in favor of doubling down on increasing adoption for BTP and xCall was funding for the ICE and SNOW projects. Continuing to fund an EVM layer that struggled to find product market fit and which would continue to require significant resources just to maintain was simply not an option.“

Furthermore, with xCall integrations well underway, an IBC integrations milestone board has now also been made publicly available.
